Savannah Zielinski
Savannah Zielinski is a passionate middle school choral educator in Shawnee Mission, Kansas. A 2018 graduate of the University of Kansas, Savannah earned a Bachelor of Music Education with a choral emphasis. During her time at KU, she studied under Genaro Méndez, honing her skills as a classical soprano while beginning an active life in service to the profession by co-founding the KU chapter of the Kansas Choral Directors Association. Recognized for her contributions to choral music education, she was awarded the prestigious KCDA Prelude Award in 2023. Savannah actively contributes to the choral community as the Design Chair of the KCDA Treble Honor Choir Committee. Beyond choral music, Savannah continues to perform as a jazz vocalist around the greater Kansas City area.
